Two Safes Stolen from Oakshade Avenue Home in Aberdeen

Police say jewelry was also taken

An Oakshades Avenue home in Aberdeen was burglarized Wednesday while the residents were out, according to Aberdeen Township Police.

The home was entered through a rear sliding glass door sometime between 2 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 1. Some jewelry and two safes were taken.

Multiple homes have been unlawfully entered in recent weeks, including and .

Residents are urged to when they go out, such as leaving lights, radios, and televisions on. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately.

Residents are reminded that solicitors are required to obtain permits from the township clerk, which are kept on file with the police department. Anyone with information should contact the detective bureau at 732-566-2054.
