Update: Two Aberdeen Men Allegedly Part of Gun Ring
NJ State Police say they were illegally selling guns in Monmouth County
The New Jersey State Police say that three convicted felons arrested in February were part of a gun ring that bought and sold illegal weapons throughout Monmouth County.
According to NJ State Police, a two month investigation revealed that Dana "Real" Jackson, 40, of Aberdeen took orders for firearms from people who could not own weapons due to prior criminal convictions.
Jackson would allegedly get the firearms from Damien Coleman, 32, of Newark and bring them back to Monmouth County, police say. Jackson and Curtis Mitchell, 29, of Cliffwood, would sell them illegally for a profit.
