Alleged drug traffickers from Florida had narcotics in trailer hitched to pickup truck, police said.

A pair of motorists from Florida were nabbed in Dover last week and found to be in possession of 15 kilograms of cocaine, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced.

Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New York Drug Enforcement Task Force, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, and Dover Police Department received information on April 20 that an individual was trafficking illegal narcotics through Morris County in a Ford F350 pickup truck, Knapp said.

The pickup truck was said to have an attached trailer, hauling the drugs, Knapp said. That night, members of the drug task force stopped the vehicle and found 15 kilograms of cocaine inside the trailer, Knapp said.
