$3K Goal: ‘Light Up’ Chester, Mendham Food Pantry With Donations
Find out how to help the West Morris Junior Women's Club reach their fundraising goal for the food pantry and enter their holiday giveaway.

CHESTER, NJ — The luminaries casting a festive glow on Chester’s Main Street through the holidays are there to bring joy, plus raise awareness about the Chester Mendham Food Pantry’s service to local residents.
The West Morris Junior Women’s Club continues to fundraise for the food pantry and has $3,000 remaining for their goal to “light up” the food pantry with donations, says Pamela Fink, a spokesperson for the group.
The service-based, 501(c)(3) volunteer organization of young women from Chester, Mendham and the surrounding towns, coordinates this fundraiser each year, investing in 2021 in reusable, plastic luminaries to place downtown, that were part of their earlier food pantry fundraising efforts.

With $3,000 to go, those luminaries are staying in place through Dec. 30, with the Junior Women’s Club taking donations for the pantry until Dec. 31.
