We are dedicated to supporting an underserved population within the Essex County community, driven by the fundamental belief that no individual should ever endure hunger or lack access to essentials. Our vision encompasses providing support through direct meal and essential items distributions, and to empower individuals by assisting with securing employment and housing. Both Mendhams and Chester Township have received nearly a quarter million dollars each to put toward road repairs in their towns this year, the New Jersey Department of Transportation announced.The state has granted Chatham Township $245,000 for improvements on South Road; $245,000 for improvements on Cherry Lane Road in Mendham Borough; and $245,000 for improvements on Cold Hill Road in Mendham Township.There's no timetable yet on when the road repairs will be conducted or how long they'll take.
