Car Seat Installation, Inspections Available In Chester

CHESTER, NJ - Safe Kids Northern New Jersey has resumed car-seat checkups in locations in Morris, Sussex, Essex and Passaic Counties. Including one in Chester.

Do you need a car seat inspected or installed? Here is where you can go:

When: Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Chester First Aid Squad
100 North Road
Chester, Morris County
When: 3rd Thursday of the month 7 a.m. to noon; 3rd Thursday of the month 7 a.m. to noon.

Pompton Lakes First Aid Squad
700 Ramapo Ave.
Pompton Lakes
When: 3rd Monday of the month 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Shade Tree Garage
171 Washington Street
Morristown, Morris County
When: 3rd Tuesday of the month 5 p.m. to 8p.m.; 2nd Saturday of the month 8 a.m. to noon

Sparta
5 West Shore Trail
Sparta, Sussex County
When: 4th Monday of the month 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Safe Kids Northern New Jersey is led by Morristown Medical Center, which provides dedicated and caring staff, operation support and other resources to assist in achieving a common goal: keeping your kids safe. Based on the needs of the community, this coalition implements evidence-based programs, such as car-seat checkups, safety workshops and sports clinics, that help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries.
