This Chester Elementary School Is Seeking A New Principal

CHESTER, NJ — The Chester School District is searching for the next principal at one of their elementary schools for the 2024-25 school year.

The position at Dickerson Elementary School would begin on July 1, 2024, according to the online job posting. The district is seeking candidates who have experience with math and literacy programming and intervention strategies, and who have excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.

A New Jersey Principal Certification is required, and both elementary teaching experience and administrative experience are preferred. The district also wants candidates with a strong background knowledge in curriculum and program development, and who are proficient in Google Workspace for Education platforms and technologies.

Applications will be accepted until April 12. Previous applicants need not apply, the district said.
