Chester Named Among Best Fall Day Trip Destinations In NJ: Report
According to NJ.com, Chester is perfect for day trips or weekend getaways because it's packed with history, tradition and charm.

CHESTER, NJ — Take advantage of the last of the outdoor activity season before it gets too cold and wet to enjoy the fall in New Jersey.
New Jersey has some stunning foliage, particularly in the north, but according to a recent NJ.com report, one Morris County town has been named one of the best.
Chester was named the sixth-best small town for a perfect fall day trip.

The town of a little more than 8,000 people is picturesque, with a jumble of Victorian-era homes and estates. Several farmland areas have been preserved by the township in order to promote locally grown foods and protect their historical significance.
Chester has a number of beautiful natural park reserves for visitors to enjoy, including the 85-acre Chubb Park and the 890-acre Hacklebarney State Park, where popular winter activities include fishing, hiking, biking and skating.

There appears to be an abundance of farms in the Chester area that provide a variety of seasonal activities. Alstede Farms and Stony Hill Farms, both of which offer seasonal produce and goods as well as corn mazes in the fall, are Chester favorites.
