Chester Police Take Part In 'No Shave November' Fundraiser For Officer With Cancer

This year, The Chester Township Police Department will host a "No Shave November" fundraiser to benefit a fellow officer.

CHESTER, NJ — Chester Township Police Department officers are putting their razors away for a good cause. The Police Department is once again taking part in "No Shave November" to raise funds for a local officer with cancer.

According to police, members of the Chester PBA 315 will participate in the fundraiser, and all funds raised will be donated to an officer in a neighboring jurisdiction who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

In honor of cancer patients, many of whom lose their own hair during treatment, the "No Shave November" movement encourages individuals, businesses, and organizations to refrain from shaving for the entire month of November.
