Christie Book Event To Benefit Mendham Township Library

MENDHAM, NJ — New Jersey’s former Governor Chris Christie is making a stop on his book tour close to home, all of the event proceeds benefitting the Mendham Township Library.

Christie is taking part in “A Special Evening With Chris Christie” at the Brookside Community Club, 1 East Main Street, this coming Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

Presented by Bookends and the Mendham Township Library, the event is $50 per person, which includes a signed copy of Christie’s book “Republican Rescue,” along with a discussion about his book. Mary Pat Christie, New Jersey’s former First Lady, plans to moderate the discussion.

Attendees will need to purchase tickets online in advance or by phone at Bookends at 201-445-0726.

In 2019, Christie also took part in an event benefitting Mendham Township's Library for his book "Let Me Finish," about the 2016 election.

Doors to the Brookside Community Club are expected to open on Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m., with masks recommended for all attendees.
