Come To Enjoy Mendham’s Festival Of Trees And Other Holiday Fun

MENDHAM, NJ — Holiday tree decorating, photos with Santa, ice sculpting demonstrations and other holiday happenings, are in the lineup on Sunday during Mendham’s Festival of Trees.
The fun kicks off on Sunday, Dec. 19 at Mendham Town Hall on 2 West Main Street, with the Holiday Tree Decorating Contest.
The contest runs from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Families who would like to reserve a tree to decorate, which entails a $30 entry fee on CommunityPass, including a tree, stand and white lights, can do so here.

Between 2:30 to 4 p.m., there will be hot cocoa for attendees to enjoy, plus holiday music, a fire pit with marshmallow-roasting and an ice sculptor at the event. Kids can write a last-minute letter to Santa, then grab a photo with him. Families can also check out the Festival of Trees and vote for their favorite ones.

At 4 pm., winners of the tree decorating contest are expected to be announced.
Most of the events on Sunday are no cost to attendees, though a $5 donation is suggested to attend, to fund more upcoming recreation events.
