COVID Tests In Mendham, Chester: Where To Find Locations

Here's where COVID-19 testing sites are found by Mendham and Chester, plus more on home tests and quarantining, as cases continue to rise.

CHESTER, NJ — How to find COVID tests and information about quarantine periods have been concerns among many of New Jersey's residents.

With a "soaring demand" for testing, the County of Morris has reopened its free, appointment-only COVID testing center at the County College of Morris, with more details here.

Below is the breakdown from the County of Morris, as of Jan. 7, for COVID cases since the pandemic start in March 2020 for Chester Borough and Township, as well as Mendham Borough and Township, as well as what the figures were on Dec. 30, 27 and 16.

Robinson Wellness Pharmacy on 2 East Main Street in Mendham, currently has nasal swab testing available, by appointment only. These tests, according to their website, are by appointment only, for $100 per test, with results available within 15 minutes. For Morris County residents who are uninsured, Zufall Health also offers testing, with appointments required. To set up a time, visit www.zufallhealth.org.

New Jersey’s Department of Health has a statewide testing database, with more information on in-person test sites found here.

At home tests are also an option with the state’s Department of Health and Vault Medical Services having partnered up to offer the COVID-19 PCR saliva test kit, which is free to New Jersey residents. See more information about ordering these tests here.

Pixel by Labcorp is a kid-friendly, nasal swab test option for ages 2+. There’s no fee for the test for anyone who is experiencing symptoms, if they’ve been exposed to someone with COVID, if they’ve been asked to test by a health department or doctor or if they live or work in a congregate setting.

The Pixel tests run $119 though for “peace of mind” or other screenings, such as for travel or school. Click here to learn more about this testing option.
