Mark Your Calendars: The 61st Annual Chester Fireman's Carnival Is Coming
Residents can support the Chester Volunteer Fire Company while enjoying the carnival's rides, games, and delicious food.

CHESTER, NJ — While summer may still be a few months away, preparations are already underway for this year's Chester Fireman's Carnival.
The annual carnival, which has been running for more than six decades, is a fundraiser for the Chester Volunteer Fire Company, with all proceeds going to the fire department.
Returning for its 61st year, the beloved Chester Fireman's Carnival will take place from June 24 to June 28 at Chubb Park. A highlight of the event, the fireworks show, will also be featured as in years past, though the exact date and time are yet to be determined.

This highly anticipated community event offers something for everyone, with a variety of family-friendly rides, games, music, food, and a beer tent.
The Chester Volunteer Fire Company's annual 50/50 raffle is also underway, with tickets currently available at the firehouse on Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. or Sundays from 9-11 a.m. Tickets will soon be available at select local stores, with locations to be announced.

The Chester Fireman's Carnival takes place every year during the last full week of June, running from Tuesday to Saturday, typically from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Since its founding in 1921, the Chester Volunteer Fire Company has been staffed entirely by volunteers. Today, the company boasts over 50 active members who collectively contribute more than 6,700 man-hours annually.
In addition to emergency response, the Chester Volunteer Fire Company participates in ongoing state training and hosts community service projects like Fire Prevention at local schools. They also support local events such as Oktoberfest, Chester Day and the Fall Craft Fair.
