Drugs, Warrant Arrests In Morris County Parks: Police
Park police made multiple arrests on the first two days of July.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Morris County Park Police made several arrests in local parks on the first two days of July, including for drugs and warrants. You can read about those arrests, as written by police in the blotter, here:
-7/1: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Roxbury Township. An investigation led to Aziz I. Bell, age 19, of Tobyhanna, PA., to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was also revealed to have an N.C.I.C. Warrant from the Pennsylvania State Police and lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending transfer to their custody.
-7/1: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop at Lewis Morris County Park in Morris Township. An investigation revealed Oscar Castro, age 55, of Rutherford, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Little Ferry Municipal Court. He was able to post the required bail and was released with a court date pending.

-7/1: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Netcong. An investigation led to Elysa V. Taylor, age 21, of Netcong, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. She was released with a court date pending.
-7/1: ARREST FOR D.W.I.: Officers observed a suspicious occupied vehicle in the area of Central Park in Parsippany. An investigation led to Oleg Papashin, age 52, of Edison Township, to be charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was released with a court date pending.

-7/2: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Morris Plains. An investigation revealed Deshawn J. Daley, age 26, of Paterson, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Paterson City Municipal Court. He was released with a court date pending.
-7/2: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers observed a County Ordinance violation at Historic Speedwell Village in Morristown. An investigation revealed Diane M. Sciara, age 48, of Morristown, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Jefferson Township Municipal Court. She was released with a court date pending.
