Drunk Minor Causes Accident, Police Say
Chester boy allegedly hit another vehicle while it was waiting to turn into Parks Farms.

A 17-year-old Chester boy was charged with reckless driving and driving while intoxicated after he allegedly hit another vehicle on Route 24 near .
said the boy was traveling east on Route 24 when his 2006 Jeep Cherokee hit a 2007 Pontiac G6 that was stopped in front of him. The Pontiac, driven by a 68-year-old Morris Plains man, was waiting to make a left turn into Parks Farms, police said.
The 17-year-old was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated and was transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment, police said. He was released to his father at the hospital, pending an appearance in juvenile court, police said.
