DWI Checkpoint Announced For The Chesters This July
Drivers, if you plan on drinking, plan ahead for a safe way home.
CHESTER, NJ — A DWI checkpoint will be held somewhere in the Chesters this July, police Chief Thomas Williver announced.
The checkpoint will be held in the jurisdiction of Chester police, which covers both borough and township. The exact location and date will not be announced in advance.
Chester police will conduct the checkpoint, and it will be funded by the State of New Jersey Drunk Driving Enforcement Fund (DDEF).

Previous checkpoints have ended in multiple arrests for drunk driving, Williver said.
