Easter And Springtime Family Festival At Chester's Alstede Farms

CHESTER, NJ — Spring has sprung, and Chester's Alstede Farms is celebrating with a Springtime and Easter Festival, complete with festive activities for the entire family.

The festival began on April 1 and will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays until April 16.

The price of admission is $21.99, and it includes scenic hayrides around the farm, encounters with and feedings of the farm's young animals, an Easter egg hunt and chances to take pictures with the Easter bunny.

Attendees are also invited to take a self-guided museum tour and a journey through the evergreen adventure maze.

In keeping with the Easter theme, families in and around Chester are invited to brunch with the Easter Bunny during this family-friendly and festive event.

"Enjoy a festive atmosphere at Harvest Hall with featured guest the Easter Bunny while indulging in a casual family-style buffet meal for a truly memorable experience," Alstede Farms said.

Brunch will be available for families on April 7-8. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be sold in time slots. For every date, there are three time slots that are available: 9 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.

Alstede Farms was founded in 1982 by Alstede, a first-generation farmer. Alstede's children inherited a love of farming and plan to stay in the industry while completing their college degrees and utilizing their talents and gifts as second-generation farmers.
