‘Elvis The Elf’ And ‘Strolling Dickens’ Coming Back To Chester
From Santa to "Chester Dollar" giveaways to live musical performances, there's lot to do while shopping and dining in Chester this holiday.
CHESTER, NJ — When people are shopping in Chester’s downtown this holiday season, they aren’t going to find shipping delays or supply chain issues.
What they will find are over 80 unique gift shops and eateries, with plenty to choose from in terms of buying presents and dining, plus loads of holiday entertainment to get into the spirit of the season.
Mark your calendar for some of the happenings this coming weekend in Chester, sponsored by the Historic Chester Business Association, during the last full weekend to shop before Christmas comes.

Among the fun in Chester:
“Chester Dollar” Giveaway - Take a lucky spin of the wheel on Main Street with chances to win Chester Dollars, to buy some great items at Chester businesses, in either 10, 20, 50 or 100 denominations.

The first weekend in December, winners walked away with over 3,000 Chester Dollars to come back and shop at HCBA destinations. See photos of some of the winners below:
On Saturday, Dec. 18, the Strolling Dickens’ Manhattan Holiday Carolers, plan to make their way through Chester’s downtown from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

From 1 to 4 p.m. - Ron Albanese as “Elvis The Elf” visiting throughout the downtown
From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. - Santa will be coming to town
