Enjoy Valentine Special Menu Items In Mendham, Chester

CHESTER, NJ — With Valentine’s Day on Monday, restaurants in and near Mendham and Chester are offering meal and drink specials, along with regular menu items.

The Black Horse Tavern and Pub at 1 Main Street in Mendham has reservations available for lunch or dinner, plus its Valentine's Day take home package, on Monday. The meal for two includes a bottle of Prosecco and four courses. Start off the meal with a beet and goat cheese salad with champagne vinaigrette. The second course is a seafood duo with jumbo shrimp and seared, sesame tuna. Two six ounce Filet Mignons with potato au gratin and spinach, make up the entree. Redwoods Grill and Bar at 459 Main Street in Chester is open through Monday for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers regular and expansive lunch, dinner, gluten free, kids', dessert and specialty beverage menus. Specialty lunch appetizers include wood-grilled shrimp and raw bar seafood selections. There are decadent sandwiches, burgers, salads and entrees to choose from. Filet Mignon, the Chairmans Reserve Black Angus Ribeye and basil-crusted Chilean Sea Bass, are among the regular entrees. Thai shrimp with rice noodles, is a gluten-free menu standard.
