Enter To Win ‘Chester Dollars’ With Your Holiday Photos Or Videos

CHESTER, NJ — Those photos or videos on your phone enjoying the holidays in Chester could rack up some holiday bucks.

The Historic Chester Business Association is hosting a holiday contest through Dec. 24, to win up to $100 “Chester Dollars” to spend in Downtown Chester HCBA locations.

Winners will be picked weekly through the end of the contest to win $10, $20 or $50 in Chester Dollars, with multiple entries qualifying for the Grand Prize of $100 Chester Dollars.

How to enter the contest:

• Post a photo or video of your “Holiday Chester Experience” at any Historic Chester Business Association location. For a list of HCBA businesses, go to www.ilovechester.com for Chester’s many shops and places to eat.
• From there, visit and tag @ilovechesternj in your photo on Instagram.
• One post with a photo at an HCBA business tagged to @ilovechesternj is one entry that is eligible in the contest.
• Multiple entries can be in the running for the Grand Prize drawing of $100 Chester Dollars.

Visit Downtown Chester for more festive fun this holiday season including:

• Small Business Saturday, Nov. 27 - Come support downtown HCBA businesses, get a free tote bag while supplies last and enjoy the sounds of the Strolling Dickens’ Manhattan Holiday Carolers.
• The Carolers plan to come back to Downtown Chester on Dec. 5, 11 and 18 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
• Santa Claus will be coming to Chester’s downtown on Sunday, Nov. 28, as well as Dec. 5 and 19 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
• Check out Sculpted Ice Works from Pennsylvania for some “cool” fun on Sunday, Dec. 12 from noon until 4 p.m. and watch a block of ice get carved into something spectacular.
• “Elvis the Elf” will be cruising in to downtown Chester from the North Pole for selfies on Nov. 28 and Dec. 19 from 1 to 4 p.m.
