Mendham Township Committeewoman Amalia Duarte said the 2020 drive lifted the spirits of more than 500 families who benefitted.

"Unfortunately, rising food prices have only made the problem of food insecurity worse, Duarte said in a news release from Morris County Democratic Women's Caucus. "I encourage those who can give to share their own good fortune with others who are experiencing difficulties. A donation of any amount of food items is appreciated.”
