'Intense' Chester Competitors Exhibit Imagination At Global Competition

Team of fifth-graders compete in Destination Imagination tournament in Tennessee.

Chester, N.J. – Five Chester students recently proved why their imagination is worthy of any destination.

Team Intense Diamond, made up of fifth-graders Jared Cooper, Jack Eisenhardt, Sara Brandt, Natalia Cresti, and Luca Cresti, took first place in the State Destination Imagination tournament in March. The team had the highest score in both age group and category: Instant Challenge and Central Challenge.

Winning the New Jersey competition was an honor, but it wasn’t the final stop for the incredible team. The state win qualified the team for the Global Finals where they would compete against teams from around the world.

Seventy-five teams qualified for the global competition in Knoxville, Tennessee, at this age group and Intense Diamond proved its worth.

The team ended the competition in fifth place overall, and the only New Jersey team to crack the top-10.
