It's Official: Mendham Boro, Twp. School Board Election Results

The polls are closed, ballots are tallied and now Mendham Township and Mendham Borough will know who will be representing them on their respective school boards after a pandemic extended election cycle.

According to the final tallies, certified by the Morris County Clerk the totals were:

Mendham Township

• Thomas Keeling: 1,299
• Robert Wowk: 1,369
• Richard Gondek: 1,065
• Rekha J. Mandel: 1,316

Mendham Borough

• Robert Largman: 1,193
• Steve McLaud: 1,523
• John Jennings: 1,512
• Catalina M. Wolfmeyer: 1,485

Since the change to this year's election was announced by Gov. Phil Murphy because of the coronavirus, there were been many questions about how the process worked. The primarily vote-by-mail process, in tandem with the extended deadlines to receive votes pushed the certification day to "on or about Nov. 20."
