Join In For Mendham Fun At Upcoming Holiday 'Search And Find'

MENDHAM, NJ — It’s an exciting event to kick off the holiday season and get to know the new Pitney Historic Park and Walled Garden better.

Head to Mendham Township on Cold Hill Road to the Historic Park and Walled Garden at Pitney Farm for the "Holiday Search and Find" event this coming Sunday, Dec. 5, from noon until 4 p.m., with a suggested $10 donation to participate.

Hosted by Girl Scout Troop 97847, the troop has coordinated the event as a fundraiser and Bronze Award project to restore some of the Pitney Garden Seed House area.

The Troop brought a design for the seed house section at the Historic Pitney Park, all original to the property from the 1700s, to Mendham Township’s Committee this past fall, for their Bronze Project.

The Search and Find fundraiser will help the Girl Scouts to make their design a reality, for the entire community.

“This will be a space for the members of our community to relax, read a book or enjoy a snack,” the Girl Scouts wrote about their concept for the Pitney Garden Seed House area.
