Daleo noticed the bird wasn’t preparing to sit for long. She grabbed her son’s camera, which was sitting nearby, and readied herself.

A few clicks of the shutter button, and Daleo found herself capturing a scene directly out of National Geographic.
The Randolph resident and hobbyist bird watcher watched the scene unfold: the eagle’s approach, swoop in, and ultimate victory of grabbing breakfast - later determined to be a wide-mouth bass – before taking off and enjoying the meal out of sight.
