Membership Rates To Increase For Brookside Beach For 2025 Season

MENDHAM, NJ — Snow might be in the forecast this week, but Mendham Township is already looking ahead to summer.

This week, the Mendham Township Recreation Department reminded residents that registration for Brookside Beach memberships for the upcoming summer is already open.

Until Feb. 15, residents can lock in the 2024 rates, which are as follows:

• Family Membership: $180 (Resident) / $220 (Non-Resident)
• Individual Membership: $80 (Resident) / $100 (Non-Resident)
• Senior Membership: $60 (Resident) / $85 (Non-Resident)

Following the 15th, rates for the 2025 season will increase by $10 in all categories, officials said.

The swim club is slated to open for weekends only on May 24 for the 2025 season, according to a municipal notice from the township. The beach, located at 16 West Main Street, has games and activities for all ages, as well as picnic tables and vending machines.

Membership passes are available on a seasonal basis for both residents and non-residents.

In addition, the swim club introduced Picture ID cards for all members last year. These cards must be presented at the beach with each visit. After registering, the Recreation Department will reach out to schedule photo submissions.

Brookside Beach features:

• snacks, drinks and ice cream to be sold on-site
• new water circulators installed for increased water flow
• weekly visits by our geese chasers to continue
• working bathrooms
• swim lessons (for members only)
