Mendham Elementary Students Get Schooled On Halloween Safety

Officers from the Mendham Township Police Department visited the elementary school last week to discuss trick-or-treating best practices.

MENDHAM, NJ - Trick-or-treating will be nothing but safe this year for the youngest Mendham Township residents if these guest speakers have anything to say about it.

Mendham Township police visited Mendham Township Elementary School last Wednesday to discuss Halloween safety and trick-or-treating best practices, the police department wrote in a statement on social media.

In photos shared on social media, four officers could be seen handing out colorful goodie bags in an autumnal-decorated classroom.

Officers also handed out goodies for trick-or-treating from the police department and the local Police Benevolent Association.
