Mendham Runners To Race In 2024 Boston Marathon

MENDHAM, NJ —Five Mendham runners will be lining up on Monday along with nearly 30,000 others to tackle one of the most iconic and notable road races — the 128th Boston Marathon on April 15.

The Boston Marathon takes place each year on Patriots' Day — a Massachusetts holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War.

Patch searched the entry list and did not see any registered runners from Chester.

Here is a list of local runners and their ages, which wave/corral they are in, and their bib numbers:

  • 9:02 a.m.: wheelchair division, men
  • 9:05 a.m.: wheelchair division, women
  • 9:30 a.m.: handcycle and duo participants
  • 9:37 a.m.: professional men
  • 9:47 a.m.: professional women
  • 9:50 a.m. para-athletics divisions
  • 10 a.m.: Wave 1
  • 10:25 a.m.: Wave 2
  • 10:50 a.m.: Wave 3
  • 11:15 a.m.: Wave 4

How to Watch:

  • ESPN2 will broadcast the 128th Boston Marathon, scheduled to take place on Monday, April 15, on its flagship channel from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
