Police say the 23-year-old knocked a man out with a single punch.
WHARTON, NJ — A Wharton man was arrested in Hoboken over the weekend, after allegedly knocking another man out with a single punch, police said.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, the first fight took place in the area of 89 River Street on Sunday, where a pair of detectives saw Michael Monica, 23, of Wharton, hit another man in the face.
The force of Monica's punch knocked the other man unconscious and he fell to the ground. As the detectives rushed to the victim's side, Monica fled the area.
