Nearly A Pound Of Packaged Pot Found In Morris Co. Traffic Stop
Police in Morris County say that they found almost a pound of prepackaged marijuana during a traffic stop this weekend.
NETCONG, NJ — A Netcong traffic stop turned up almost a pound of marijuana prepackaged into metal tins, Netcong police said.
Donald Larubbio, 68, from Bushkill, Pennsylvania, was arrested following the Sunday morning traffic stop, police said. During the stop, police say they found 101 metal tins containing a total of 404 grams of marijuana (just over 14 ounces), as well as nearly $3,000 in cash.
Police say they found Larubbio stopped in his car in the middle of Route 183 and Route 46 shortly after midnight on Sunday. After Larubbio's car didn't move and he obstructed traffic, police pulled him over.

The smell of raw marijuana lead police to search the car, police said.
Larubbio was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. He was released with an upcoming court date.
