Wegmans Credit Card Customers Were Double-Charged Accidentally
A glitch in their system Aug. 16 impacted both in-store and online orders, the company said.

Shoppers who purchased goods online or in-store with a credit at a Wegmans grocery store on Aug. 16 should check their statements as they were most likely double-charged, company officials said.
According to officials, credit card transactions were impacted but EBT and debit card transactions were not. The issue impacted all Wegmans stores, and the company did send out alerts to app users and customers.
Wegmans noted that the issue has been identified, and they are working with processors to reverse the charges.
