Pedestrian Killed By Car In Morris County: PD
The westbound lanes of Route 46 were closed for several hours after a man was struck and killed.
MONTVILLE, NJ — A pedestrian was struck and killed on Route 46 in Montville Thursday night, police said.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. near the McDonalds. Police say the man, a 41-year-old from Pine Brook, was struck by a car on the westbound lanes.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His identity was not released on Friday afternoon.

Route 46 west was closed for several hours while police responded. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
