Runners From Mendham, Chester To Participate In 2022 NYC Marathon

MENDHAM/CHESTER, NJ — The 2022 New York City Marathon kicks off on Sunday, Nov. 6 with tens of thousands of runners crossing that starting line including several from Mendham and Chester.

The race, which returns to full capacity – 50,000 runners – after a shortened race last year and a canceled race the year before, will follow a 26.2 mile course through the five boroughs of New York City.

Below is a list of the Mendham and Chester runners participating. Please note, this list does not encompass the whole field from New Jersey, just runners who have agreed to share their information with media:

You can cheer on these fellow local runners live on TV, computer, tablet, or smartphone during the 26.2-mile race in New York City, New York on Sunday, Nov. 6.

All 50,000 runners will be screened as they approach the start line on Staten Island and all spectators will be screened as they enter Central Park.

Watch the broadcast live on race day on WABC-TV, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pre-race coverage from Fort Wadsworth begins at 7:00 a.m. EST. Live streaming will be available on the ABC App and ABC7NY.com from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
