‘Spread On The Holiday Cheer’ At Chester Starbucks

Starbucks in Chester is collecting toys and non-perishable food items for area families who've battled COVID and more.

CHESTER, NJ — In hopes of making the holiday season brighter and better for anyone who was dealt a bad hand in 2021, Chester Starbucks says they’d like “to make this year extra special.”

They've got a couple of collections going on for anyone who would like to stop by and drop off items by the front door of the coffee location at 450 Route 206.

Through Sunday, Dec. 12, Starbucks is collecting toys for Toys for Tots.

Through Friday, Dec. 17, the local coffee chain says they are collecting non-perishable foods, toiletries, new pajamas, new blankets and other items, for NJ Cares.

“Starbucks hopes to make this year extra special for families affected by hunger, poverty, natural disasters and COVID,” is on the store’s sign, to “spread on the holiday cheer.”

The store is collecting these items through Dec. 17, accepting, new and unused toiletries, like shampoos, conditioners, body washes, toothpastes, mouthwashes, chapstick, lotions, hand soaps, cotton swabs and shaving products.
