State Grant Providing County DWI Checkpoints
This weekend Roxbury will be the site, prosecutor says.

A grant from the State Division of Highway Traffic Safety Administration is being used to implement a DWI checkpoint in Morris County this weekend.
Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi announced Roxbury will be the site of the checkpoint this Saturday and Sunday.
The office received the grant, named “County DWI Enforcement Grant.” It is designed to establish checkpoints in cooperation with the Morris County municipal police departments at various locations throughout the county.

“The goal of the grant is to cut down on the number of drunk drivers who utilize our roads as well as to prevent crashes that are the direct result from drinking and driving," Bianchi said in a release.
