Fall Festivities, Thanksgiving Dinner Planned At Chester Farm
Residents are invite to celebrate the arrival of the holiday season with a farm fresh Thanksgiving meal courtesy of Alstede Farms.
CHESTER, NJ — The holidays are quickly approaching, and Chester's Alstede Farms is alleviating some of the stress by providing a "Farm to Table Thanksgiving Meal" to help kick off the festivities.
Throughout the month leading up to Thanksgiving, the local farm is hosting a variety of events and activities to help the community get into the spirit and enjoy the last weeks of fall weather.
Pre-orders for Thanksgiving meals, including all-natural, local turkeys, home baked pies and farm to table complete Thanksgiving meals, are now being taken by the farm.

Do you prefer to cook your own turkey but need assistance with the sides? The farm offers the Alstede Fresh Thanksgiving Dinner without the Turkey which includes five sides and dessert and ice cream.
During the fall, guests can enjoy learning about the agricultural process while hand-picking a variety of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables in season on weekends and select weekdays. Guests can then spend the entire day at the farm, taking scenic tractor drawn wagon rides, visiting the animals and enjoying the fall farm vibe. Homemade ice cream will also be available throughout the fall season featuring seasonal favorites like pumpkin chip, maple and more.
Alstede Farms, a first-generation family farm in Morris County, is a pioneer in sustainable agriculture, cultivating over 250 varieties of fruits and vegetables across 600 acres of preserved farmland.
