Franklin Road Vehicle Fire Sends One To Hospital In Mendham

Mendham Fire and Emergency Medical teams worked quickly to control the blaze.

MENDHAM, NJ — A vehicle fire on that trapped one person inside the car on Saturday, prompted a swift response from the Mendham Fire Department.

At around 9 p.m., the Mendham Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire with entrapment on Franklin Road.

Firefighters confirmed everyone was out of the vehicle when they arrived and began extinguishing the vehicle fire, according to Mendham Fire Department.

Emergency medical teams took one person to the Morristown Medical Center for treatment. The extent of the person's injuries is not known at this time.

The Fire units and emergency medical teams remained at the scene for about an hour before turning the investigation over to the Mendham Borough Police Department.
