Walk Off Thanksgiving Meal For A Good Cause In Mendham, Chester
The walk to fundraise for mental health and suicide prevention is this coming Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at West Morris Mendham H.S.
MENDHAM, NJ — It is 12 miles to raise awareness of 12 teen suicides a day, with all walk proceeds benefitting the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris.
Registration is happening now or the day of the walk for mental health and suicide prevention at West Morris Mendham High School’s Football field, on Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a rain date on Nov. 28.

It is $10 per person to walk or $8 per person for teams of five or more, whether signing up in advance or the day of the event.

10 a.m. - the day kicks off with check-in and bagels, courtesy of Mendham Bagels.
12 p.m. - There’s lunch catered by Frank’s Pizza.

The Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris provides direct services to those who need it for their emotional health, advocacy to remove stigmas and improve the treatment of people who are battling mental illness, to educate others about mental illnesses and to help people struggling with mental illness to reach their recovery goals.
