Weather Brings Accidents To Mendham, Chester Area Friday: Police
Mendham Township Police Department reported "a number of accidents" on Friday morning, asking drivers to give crews time to treat roads.
MENDHAM, NJ — As the wintry weather is making its way out of the Mendham and Chester areas, local police have asked drivers to stay off of the roads temporarily because of the slick surfaces.
Mendham Township Police posted the message on social media Friday morning, reporting a “number of accidents in our area.”
“Many roads are still very slick as our DPW is working to clear and salt them,” they stated.

“Please stay off the roads for a couple of hours and let our crews do the good work they do and get them cleared,” Mendham Township Police wrote.
