• Middlesex Boro Man Part Of Ring That Smashed Postal Truck Windows, Stole Mail, Feds Say (patch.com) — A Middlesex Borough man has been federally charged as part of a three-person ring accused of smashing postal truck windows and stealing mail, including checks, across North Jersey. Prosecutors say the group altered stolen checks for deposit and recruited bank account holders online, and all three suspects are now being held following their first appearance in Newark federal court.

(cbsnews.com) — Two separate overnight shootings in Middlesex County left a 17-year-old boy from East Brunswick and a 17-year-old girl from Edison dead, with teen suspects now in custody. Both incidents, in Sayreville and Edison just hours apart, involve juveniles who knew their victims, and the cases are being handled by county prosecutors and the juvenile detention system.
