With key contributions from Avery Iskra and Kendall Maynard, Middlesex controlled the game from the opening quarter and pulled away decisively after halftime.

• Broadway actress Imani Smith killed in New Jersey stabbing (cnn.com) — Middlesex County authorities are investigating the fatal stabbing of 26-year-old Broadway alum Imani Smith in Edison, with a man she knew now facing murder and weapons charges and held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center. Prosecutors say the incident was not random, and Smith’s family and community are mourning the loss of the former “Lion King” performer and young mother.
   

• Operation Bad Santa: Middle school teacher among a dozen arrested for child sex crimes in multi-agency undercover sting operation – One America News Network (oann.com) — A major undercover sting led by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office resulted in 12 arrests of men accused of trying to meet minors for sex after online contact. With suspects from several nearby towns, including local educators and program staff, officials say the operation will continue and urge parents in Middlesex and across the county to closely monitor kids’ online activity.
