On June 9th, the first seeded Angels defeated the third seeded Cubs at Campbell Field in Bodman Park to claim the Minor League Championship title (ages 10-11) for the Middletown Youth Athletic Association. Both teams had won two playoff games to advance to the championship. The Angels were down 4-0 in the first inning and came back to make the final score 11-4. Ryan Rozinski started and pitched four innings. Stephen Delahanty pitched the rest of the game. The Angels were awarded championship trophies in a ceremony following the game.
