Township High School North Senior Receives Health Care Scholarship

Newman Springs Dental Care awarded Kimberly Huey, a senior at Middletown Township High School North, a $500 scholarship for her future studies in health care. This included medicine, nursing, dentistry, chiropractic, physical therapy, and other areas of healthcare. 

Kimberly will be attending Brookdale Community College in the fall where she will be studying occupational therapy. 

Newman Springs Dental Care, a dental practice in Lincroft, choose Huey from a pool of applicants.

“There were several excellent candidates who were worthy of the scholarship, Kimberly just stood out from the group” said Dr. Mitchel Friedman, a 1976 graduate of the township public school system. Dr. Friedman’s mother, Sheila Friedman Rubin, taught in Middletown her entire career.
