SANDY HOOK, NJ — Hey, Monmouth County moms, dads and families, if you're looking for a unique thing to take kids to, consider this event this Friday, Feb. 14 hosted by the National Park Service:
Celebrate Valentine’s Day by falling in love with one of Sandy Hook’s most lovable visitors — the seals!

Location: Fort Hancock Museum - Guardhouse (Building #28) on Fort Hancock at Sandy Hook. Parking: Available near the Sandy Hook Lighthouse - Visitor Center
The program begins with a heartwarming talk about seals, including the types of seal species that visit Sandy Hook and the Jersey Shore, their behaviors and their role in the ecosystem of the Atlantic Ocean and Sandy Hook Bay. After the presentation, the “kiss” on top will be a stroll to the bayside where we may catch a glimpse of these lovable creatures out on the rocks. Come prepared for a short walk, cold winter weather, and an interest in gaining more love for these animals. Free!
