IMA Patients Donate Food To Middletown Helps Its Own, Lunch Break To Feed 1,000 Monmouth Families

All donations go to Middletown Helps Its Own and Lunch Break, two local non-profits that will provide Thanksgiving meals to 1,000 families.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care just wrapped up their successful Thanksgiving food drive, held now for the eighth year in a row.

All the food donated will benefit Middletown Helps Its Own and Lunch Break, two locally-run non-profits that will provide Thanksgiving meals to over one thousand Monmouth County residents.

"We are incredibly grateful for the immense support from our community," said Brendan Mulholland, MD, President of IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care. "The outpouring of kindness ensures that families across our area will have nutritious meals and hope this Thanksgiving. It's a true testament to what we can achieve when we work together."

Middletown Helps Its Own and Lunch Break created Thanksgiving food baskets/boxes for local families in need. Each food package includes essential items for a complete Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, vegetable, side dishes such as mashed potatoes and stuffing and dessert.

For over 40 years, Middletown Helps Its Own provides food and emergency assistance to Middletown residents in need. Middletown Helps Its Own is an all-volunteer not-for-profit that coordinates and distributes over 600 Thanksgiving and holiday baskets to Middletown residents. And for 41 years, Lunch Break has been committed to providing programs to encompass feeding, clothing, outreach, mentoring and social services.
