Middletown Runs Its Letters To Santa Until Dec. 5

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — As they do every year, Middletown Township is again running its Letters from Santa, where local children can write a letter to Santa Claus, and then receive a response in the mail.

Here's how it works:

Have your children write a letter to Santa. From Middletown Township, here are some things they can write about: https://www.middletownnj.org/D...

Then drop off the letter, without any postage, to any of the special mailboxes Middletown set up around town. In a few weeks, your child will get a personalized return letter from Santa.

To ensure delivery by Christmas, mailboxes will be removed on December 5. So you must drop off your child's letter by Dec. 5.

This year, the special mailboxes are located at:

• Croydon Hall - outside the Senior Center, 900 Leonardville Rd, Leonardo NJ 07737
• Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church St, Middletown NJ 07748
• Middletown Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Rd, Middletown NJ 07748
• Tonya Keller Community Center, 50 Bray Ave, Middletown NJ 07748
• Town Hall - inside the Main Lobby (closed outside business hours), 1 Kings Highway, Middletown NJ 07748
• Poricy Park Nature Center - inside the Main Lobby (closed outside business hours), 345 Oak Hill Rd, Red Bank NJ 07701

They are asking families to put $1 into each letter as a donation to the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council, the non-profit organization that operates the Middletown Arts Center. Or TEXT your donation to 732-737-6026.
