MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Middletown families. In Middletown, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person, plus many other Christmas and holiday-time events.

Dec. 7: Middletown's Santa Ferry 2024 - may be sold out

The yuletide ride features Santa and friends, presents, entertainment, and a scenic ride around the Statue of Liberty. Ferries leave and return to SeaStreak's Belford Ferry Terminal. Menorah Lighting | 5:30PM
Join them at their Menorah Lighting Ceremony during the celebration of Hanukah a lighting of the Giant Menorah, Festive Music, Donuts, Latkes, Entertainment, Gelt Drop and Miniature Golf. Rabbi Laibel Schapiro, Rabbi Yaakov Greenberg from the Chabad of the Shore and Mayor John Pallone of the City of Long Branch will officiate the lighting.

The Menorah Lighting will take place rain or shine.

Meet Santa at the Freehold Raceway Mall

Visit Santa in his winter wonderland. Santa arrived on Nov. 7 and is located on the lower level at Zara Court. A visit with Santa is free and photo packages are available for purchase. Hours vary by day and week. A complete list of hours is available online. Reservations can also be made online.

Pet nights will also be held on Mondays from 4-7 p.m. A sensory-friendly event is scheduled for Dec. 8 from 10-11 a.m.
