The baking studio is the next step in her career, which began with custom orders for wedding cakes, as well as vegan and organic desserts, and led to her baking for local restaurants.
At Chocolate Ciel, the Montclair resident will demonstrate her techniques for cake decorating as well as baking muffins, cookies, and more. Adult classes will include baguettes, croissants, madeleines, macaroons, and holiday cookies.
All classes will begin with a demonstration followed by hands-on baking. Students will leave class with the recipe and baked goods.
Chocolate Ciel, 9 Sand Park Road, will also host private events (birthdays, bridal or wedding parties, corporate events, baby showers, etc.), as well as conduct private classes for small groups.
