Nude Stroll Puts Two Montclair Men In Jail

Two Montclair men were arrested Monday after they were caught walking nude through the historic district of downtown Charleston, South Carolina, The Post and Courier reported today.

After they were arrested early Monday, two drunken revelers told police officers that they thought it would be a good idea to strip off their clothes and walk around the downtown area, the newspaper said.

The pair, a 19 year old and a 21 year old from Montclair face a charge of indecent exposure after an officer came across them around 2 a.m. "completely in the nude," according to the police incident report.

The report said that the two smelled of alcohol and that they were slurring their speech.

The report did not explain how the underage man was able to get alcohol. Both were jailed but were released later in the day after posting bail.
