
Montclair Police are seeking clues in a pair of burglaries that took place over a two-day period.
In one case, the tenant of a building on Glenridge Avenue said jewelry worth about $6,000 had been stolen from his bedroom.

He told police that the door to his first-floor apartment had been smashed in.
The next day, another man, a resident on Linden Avenue, said jewelry worth about $4,400 had been stolen from his home.

He said someone had gotten in through the back door—which had been left locked—between 11 a.m. and 1:40 p.m.
He found bedrooms ransacked and a bowl of loose change missing, in addition to the jewelry.
